Messer Makes Major Investment in Local Jobs, Innovation, Community Growth, and its Customers
Bridgewater, N.J., U.S., May 21, 2025 – Messer, the largest privately-held industrial gas business in the world, recently marked the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art Electronics & Specialty Products Laser Mix facility in Coolbaugh Township, Pennsylvania, reinforcing its long-term commitment to innovation and economic development in the commonwealth. The ribbon-cutting celebration included employees, customers, local officials, first responders, and community partners to commemorate the milestone.

The event featured remarks from Messer leadership, and the presentation of a congressional proclamation on behalf of Congressman Rob Bresnahan of Pennsylvania’s 8th district, recognizing Messer’s contributions to the region.
Messer is proud of its business in Pennsylvania. The company’s two air separation units, its National Operations Center, helium transfill site, and numerous distributor locations help Messer serve hundreds of customers in the commonwealth. And now, this new facility is part of the company’s expanding footprint and ongoing efforts to meet the evolving needs of its customers in the electronics and specialty gases sectors, while also driving local economic impact and fostering community partnerships.
