Explore technologies designed to support food safety, product quality, yield improvement, and production efficiency

Bridgewater, N.J., U.S., October 29, 2026 –  Messer will showcase innovative chilling and freezing solutions for poultry processors at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) 2027 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Following its successful debut at IPPE 2026, the Messer KwikChiller™ returns to the show floor. With multiple systems now installed and operating across the United States, this compact spiral chilling solution is designed to rapidly and uniformly chill food products while helping processors add chilling capacity in space-constrained facilities.

A key focus at this year's event is the impact of hygienic design on the development of modern food processing equipment. "Hygienic design is becoming an increasingly important consideration across food processing operations," said Mike Newman, Vice President of Innovation & Application Development. Designed around processors’ sanitation and operational requirements, new technologies can help support effective cleaning practices while assisting facilities in maintaining efficient production.

Messer will also spotlight its decades of experience implementing cryomechanical freezing solutions. By combining the rapid cooling capabilities of cryogenic freezing with mechanical freezing systems, the right approach can help processors increase throughput, improve yield, and get more from existing freezer investments.

“As food processors balance production demands, labor challenges, and evolving food safety expectations, they need solutions that help them get more from existing assets,” said Don Smiley, Director of Food & Beverage. “At IPPE, we’ll show how strategically applied chilling and freezing technologies can help processors protect product quality, improve operational efficiency and address production constraints.”

Visitors to the Messer booth can discuss their processing challenges with food industry specialists and explore chilling, freezing, and cryomechanical solutions tailored to their products, facilities and operational goals.

Messer will exhibit at IPPE 2027 in Booth C17159.
